Fresh Faces for Fall: Who’s on Our Radar (and Should Be on Yours!)
by Vlada Gelman

Fall TV is almost here, which means some of your favorite actors will soon be back in series either new (hi, Zooey Deschanel!) or familiar. But there’s also plenty of promising fresh faces making their way to your TV this season. Some have paid their dues with myriad guest spots and supporting roles. Others are so straight off the bus we have to wonder if they even have their SAG card yet.

From The CW’s new mean girl to NBC’s star-in-the-making, TVLine has selected the fresh faces you should watch for as the networks get back to business.

Dylan Minnette

Awake, NBC (premiering midseason)

How Fresh? | Kind of fresh. Minette’s been around the block, having played young Michael Scofield on Prison Break, and Jack’s sideways son on Lost.

Why Watch? | If there’s anyone equipped to play the estranged son of a man who wakes up to one reality in which his wife is dead and one in which his son is gone, it’s Minnette. After all, he has plenty of experience doing moody and distant, as Jack Shephard’s sullen son. Hopefully, he also picked up some crying tips from Lost’s master of the waterworks.
