Alias Alum Kevin Weisman to Join ‘Awake’

Actor Kevin Weisman, best known for his role on the ABC drama ‘Alias’, will be joining the as-yet-to-be-scheduled NBC drama Awake that will chronicle police detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) who will live in two alternate realities: one where his wife (Laura Allen) perishes in a car accident and one in which his son (Dylan Minnette) dies.

Weisman will have the recurring role of a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde, who will haunt Detective Britton and will play a role in his parallel worlds. According to Entertainment Weekly, Mr. Blonde will be a “man with unclear motives, but he has revealing information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life”.

Besides his work on ‘Alias’, Weisman has appeared in episodes of TV shows like ‘Moonlight’, ‘Chuck’, ‘Fringe’ and ‘Human Target’. He has also been in the box office films ‘Clerks II’, ‘Flipped’ and ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’.

Again, NBC has not scheduled a debut night for ‘Awake’ as of yet, but be on the look-out for it, hopefully, sometime this Spring.
