First Look: ‘Goosebumps’ Movie Stills

The upcoming movie adaptation of RL Stine’s popular series Goosebumps is getting closer! Production just officially wrapped on the same day that the first photos of the movie emerged!

Check out Dylan Minnette, Jack Black and Odeya Rush in these newly released Goosebumps movie stills! Goosebumps is expected in theaters in August 2015!

Teenage Zach (Dylan Minnette) moves from New York City to a small town, and finds himself intrigued by Hannah (Odeya Rush), the girl next door, but weirded out by her misanthrope father. He is R.L. Stine (played by Black), and he has a big secret: All the Goosebumps monsters come from his imagination and can manifest themselves in reality.

Things get hairy when giant praying mantises, frightful zombies and all sorts of other kooky characters and creatures run wild at night through the local high school football field and the rest of town, and Stine has to come out of his introverted shell and team with some youngsters to save the day.

‘Scandal’ First Look: The Grant Children Have Arrived

After three seasons, Scandal is finally bringing the Grant children into the fold. Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Mellie’s (Bellamy Young) offspring, Jerry and Karen will make their debut on the March 27th episode titled “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

Jerry, (Dylan Minnette) the older of the two, is described as “quiet, smart and intense,” while his younger sister Karen (Madeline Carroll) comes across as very “polished and older than her years.” In the episode, Jerry and Karen must prepare for a live sitdown television interview with their parents at the White House as part of their father’s reelection campaign.

Dylan Minnette Lands Lead in ‘Goosebumps’ Adaptation

Dylan Minnette is set to star in Sony Pictures’ adaptation of R.L. Stine’s popular young adult horror book series, Goosebumps. Dylan will be starring alongside Jack Black and Odeya Rush.

 

Variety:

The story follows Zack Cooper (Dylan Minnette) who moves from New York City to the small town of Greendale, Maryland, where his secretive new neighbor turns out to be veteran young adult horror author R.L. Stine (Jack Black). When all the many demons of Stine’s mind are set free by Slappy, a demonic ventriloquist’s dummy, it’s up to Minnette’s character and Stine’s niece Hannah (Odeya Rush) to put all the evil genies back in the bottle.

Dylan Minnette to Appear on ABC’s ‘Scandal’

Dylan Minnette and Madeline Carroll - ScandalDylan Minnette will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit ABC drama Scandal. Dylan will play Jerry, son to President Fitzgerald Grant and his wife Mellie. Joining Dylan is Madeline Carroll who will be playing his sister Karen.

Scandal returns on Feb. 27, with the Grant children expected to make their appearance on or around March 27 in episode 15.

‘Labor Day’ in Theaters January 31st!

Dylan Minnette makes an appearance new Paramount Pictures motion picture Labor Day — out Friday, January 31, 2014.

Starring Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, and Gattlin Griffith, Labor Day tells the story of a single mom, her son and their chance run in with a mysterious stranger.

A story of love, passion, and betrayal as seen through the eyes of a teenage boy and the man he later becomes. Henry (Gattlin Griffith) looks back on his fateful 13th year, when he lived with his reclusive divorced mother (Kate Winslet). At the start of Labor Day weekend, while on a rare excursion to town, Henry and his mother encounter an injured man (Josh Brolin) who asks for refuge in their home. Over the course of the next four days, they’re taken ‘hostage’ by a man who ultimately captures them, body and soul.

Dylan plays a teenage Henry Wheeler in the film.

Dylan will play a young Donnie Gill (known in the Marvel universe as the alter ego of the super-villain Blizzard.)
